Privacy Policy

Effective 19 August 2026. This page explains what information we collect from visitors to opti-mystic.ai, why we collect it, and the choices you have.

Who we are

Opti-Mystic.ai Inc. ("Opti-Mystic," "we," "us") operates this website. We are registered at 2810 N Church St. 164515, Wilmington, DE 19802.

Questions about this policy or your information can be sent to hello@opti-mystic.ai.

Information we collect

We collect information in these ways:

  • Forms you submit. Our contact form, waitlist form, and assessment request form ask for your name, work email, company, and optionally a phone number and a message. The assessment request also asks a number of questions about your systems and operations; whatever you enter there is sent to us with the rest of the form. When you submit a form we also capture the campaign parameters that brought you to the page (UTM parameters), the page path you submitted from, and the address of the page that referred you to us.
  • Cookieless first-party analytics. We record page views and use a daily-rotating salted hash of your IP address to count unique visitors. This does not identify you personally, does not use a cookie, and cannot be reversed to recover your IP address.
  • Server access logs. Like any web server, ours records each request — including your IP address, the page requested, and your browser user-agent. These logs exist to operate and secure the site.
  • Third-party analytics and advertising, only after you consent. If you accept cookies through our cookie banner, we load Google Analytics and Microsoft Advertising. See "Cookies and similar technologies" below for exactly what each one sets. Until you consent, none of these cookies are set.

How we use it

We use the information we collect to:

  • Respond to enquiries and evaluate fit for an assessment or engagement.
  • Route leads to the right person on our team through our CRM.
  • Understand which pages and campaigns are working, using aggregate, cookieless analytics.
  • Measure the effectiveness of our advertising, once you have consented to it.

We do not use information submitted through our forms to send unsolicited marketing unrelated to your enquiry.

Cookies and similar technologies

Campaign parameters (no cookie). UTM parameters from the link you followed are held in your browser sessionStorage, not a cookie, and are discarded when you close the tab.

Your cookie choice (no cookie). When you accept or decline, we record that choice in your browser localStorage under the name om_consent, so we do not have to ask again. Nothing about it is sent to us.

Before you consent, no analytics or advertising cookies are set. Our cookie banner uses Google Consent Mode v2, which defaults to denied until you choose otherwise. If you decline, none of the scripts below are loaded at all.

If you accept cookies, the following are set:

Google LLC (Google Analytics 4):

  • _ga — distinguishes visitors — 2 years
  • _ga_4QKE6P4HYB — persists session state — 2 years

Microsoft Corporation (Microsoft Advertising / Bing UET):

  • _uetsid — session identifier — 1 day
  • _uetvid — visitor identifier — 13 months
  • MUID — identifies you across Microsoft properties for advertising — 13 months. This one is set by Microsoft on its own domain rather than by us.

Changing your mind. Use the Cookie preferences link in the footer of any page. It clears your stored choice and brings the banner back, so you can decline. Note that clearing only your cookies will not undo your choice — the choice itself is not a cookie — which is why the link exists.

Who we share it with

We share information with:

  • Google LLC, when you consent to analytics and advertising cookies.
  • Microsoft Corporation, when you consent to analytics and advertising cookies.
  • Our CRM and hosting providers, who process form submissions and site data on our behalf, under contract, and only to provide their service to us.

We do not sell your personal information, and we do not share it with anyone else for their own marketing purposes.

How long we keep it

Cookieless analytics data (page views and the daily-rotating hashed IP) is kept for 400 days, after which a scheduled job deletes it.

Server access logs rotate automatically and hold roughly the last 200 MB of traffic per site, which at our current volume is a matter of weeks rather than years.

Information submitted through a form is kept for as long as it is useful to our relationship with you — for example, while we are following up on an enquiry or maintaining an active business relationship — and is deleted or anonymized after that.

Cookies set by Google and Microsoft persist for the lifetimes listed above, or until you clear them.

Your rights

If you are in the UK or European Economic Area, under the UK GDPR and EU GDPR you have the right to:

  • Access the personal information we hold about you.
  • Correct inaccurate information.
  • Request erasure of your information.
  • Restrict or object to how we process it.
  • Receive a copy of your information in a portable format.
  • Withdraw consent to cookies at any time using the Cookie preferences link in our footer, without affecting processing that happened before you withdrew it.
  • Lodge a complaint with your local data protection supervisory authority.

If you are a California resident, or a resident of another US state with a comparable privacy law, you have the right to:

  • Know what personal information we have collected about you.
  • Delete it.
  • Correct it.
  • Opt out of the sale or sharing of your personal information. We do not sell personal information; the advertising cookies described above only load if you consent to them.
  • Not be discriminated against for exercising any of these rights.

To exercise any of these rights, email hello@opti-mystic.ai.

International transfers

This website and the systems behind it are operated from the United States. If you are visiting from outside the United States, your information will be transferred to and processed in the United States, which may have different data protection laws than your home country.

Children

This website is a business-to-business marketing site and is not directed to, or intended for use by, anyone under the age of 16. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children.

Changes to this policy

We may update this policy from time to time. If we make a material change, we will update the effective date at the top of this page. Continued use of the site after a change means you accept the updated policy.
